EVALUATION

The devil is in the detail. We analyze and review every dollar spent or to be spent, in order to discover where the costs centers are, where savings can be made, key revenue drivers and where your profits could be better maximized. We are happy to sign whatever non-disclosure provisions you require but absolutely insist that we be given the chance to work with the raw data – down to the last penny. It is only by immersing ourselves in every level of the financial data, gaining insight into every nook and cranny of the business, that we can drill down and identify what is going wrong and what is going right. And if you’re paying money for a hospitality consultant, we believe that these are the first answers they should deliver. And quickly.

PLANNING

Once we have the data we now know what needs fixing, what needs tweaking and what needs a total overhaul. Having identified the problems, we put together a meticulous plan for solving them, leaving no stone unturned. Our approach to any business starts at the back-of-house and we roll it forward, until we have addressed every possible element of the business. Rarely does everything need fixing or changing. Often the concept is great but the staffing levels are inefficient, creating an oversized payroll which does not serve the business. Or the customer experience is excellent but no emphasis has previously been placed on budgeting and margins, so a busy venue does not necessarily equate to a profitable venue. Having therefore identified both the strengths as well as the weaknesses, we include in our plan a way to maximize the assets as well as reducing costs. EXECUTION

This is where we really add value. Most hospitality consultants will charge you for showing you what’s wrong or how to make it better – then they’ll go home.
